This is a fantastic bike that fully justifies an asking price of £2,300. It is a superb low mileage example of this outstanding bike – just over 13,000 miles. One owner from new and always kept in a garage away from the elements. It has been used mainly in the dry.
Like many ‘blade owners the temptation to tweak was too great. The mods are listed in the specification opposite.
It had new spark plugs about 3,000 miles ago and has just had an oil and filter change – zero miles since. It has a new set of front Carbone Lorraine SBK3 disc pads– zero miles since. The tyres are nearly new – still have the spikey bits on them!
There are a couple of minor gripes – all shown in the photos. The decal on the left middle fairing panel is slightly damaged. There are two tiny chips at the front lower lip of the tank near the retaining bolts. There is a bit of corrosion on bottom of lower for legs. Slight mark on pillion seat. Tiny mark on right seat unit panel.

- Altered final gearing to increase acceleration (who uses top speed on our roads?) and stock 530 chain replaced with 520. Went up 2 teeth on rear sprocket and down 1 tooth on the front sprocket. Plenty of life left in both chain and sprockets
